Ivan Z. Milentijevic is Full professor at Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Nis, Serbia. He received B.S. in Electrical engineering, MSc and PhD in Computing from University of Nis in 1989, 1994 and 1998, respectively. His research interests include: computer architectures, parallel processing, fault tolerant systems, high speed computations, digital signal processing, management of IT projects, e-learning and education in informatics. He published 25 journal papers, one book, 60 papers in international conference proceedings, and more than 70 papers in Serbian conferences. Prof. Milentijevic coordinated 4 international projects, and managed 2 projects for Serbian Ministry of Education and Science. He was a Head of Computer Science Department at Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Nis from 2005 till 2010. Prof. Milentijevic served as a member of Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance (CAQA) of the Republic of Serbia (2011-2015). Currently he is a member of the National Board for Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technologies within the frame of the Ministry of Education and Science as well as a Member of the National Board for Interdisciplinary Research (2010 – present). He received the Award from the Regional Chamber of Commerce for the contribution in the field of Information Technologies in 2010.
